Respiratory Care Professionals
In this position you will participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive patient care services, while proactively supporting the efforts that will ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promoting a safe environment at Children’s.
Other responsibilities include:
- Consistently and independently prioritize and deliver dependable and effective patient care in a variety of patient situations from common to complex, using the respiratory care process.
- Demonstrate rapid recognition of subtle deterioration of patient status and take appropriate action.
- Evaluate patient’s response to interventions and adjust plan of care accordingly.
- Participate in discharge planning.
- Respond appropriately in emergent situations and maintain professional composure while utilizing appropriate resources.
Qualifications include:
- Current license in the state of Georgia as a Respiratory Care Professional.
- Graduation from an approved Diploma or Associate’s degree program with the RRT credentials; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 1 year experience required.
- BLS certification is required.
